Tasting- Bodegas Breca Garnacha de Fuego Old Vines

Name: Bodegas Breca Garnacha de Fuego Old Vines

Variety: Aragon Grenache
Region: Calatayud
Country: Spain
Year: 2013
Price: $9
Wine Review: Caramel, kirsch, red fruits, vanilla and a hint of strawberry nose, nice long finish, plenty of tannin to balance the fruit. An exceptional value!- Cellar tracker, Duel

My Review: This 14.5% alcohol wine is a deep red color. It had a cherry smell with citrusy undertones. This was an extremely dry wine which dried the roof of my mouth and my tongue. This was my first wine from old vines and I tasted the earthy soil. Overall, this was an interesting wine but one I won’t be buying again.
Food: This wine was tasted with no food.
