La Lejania Sauvignon Blanc

Name: La Lejania Sauvignon Blanc
Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Central Valley
State: Chile
Year: 2015
Price: $7
Vintage Cellar Review: Aromas of green apple and citrus are as classic as it gets for Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. This is straight forward but enjoyable, with modest minerality. Flavors of citrus and gooseberry carry over onto a refreshing finish.

My Review: This Sauvignon Blanc was a nice wine. Sweet citrusy smells immediately came to mind balanced by a crisp grape hint. The wine had a tart taste at the end which complemented the dryness well. This balanced wine was a nice wine to start the tasting off with.

Food: This wine was tasted with no food due to tasting it at the Vintage Cellar.
