Vintage Cellar Review: This world-renowned wine shows peachy tropical fruit and
melon characters on the nose, with a hint of citrus freshness and judicious use
of oak. The palate is generous and soft with full, ripe tropical flavors folded
into a creamy backdrop that is beautifully structured with a long satisfying
finish.
My review: This wine was a decent but not fantastic chardonnay.
It was very mild in flavor, lacking the smell of sweetness I had expected with
a chardonnay. The wine had tropical tone and a nice long balanced finish. It
was buttery and creamy in the palate which was a nice touch. Overall, I wouldn’t
recommend this wine and look forward to trying others.
Food: This wine was tasted with no food due to tasting it at
the Vintage Cellar.
